Instructions
  1. Marinate shrimp with ginger & garlic paste, salt, masala and lemon juice for at least 30 mins.
  2. In a large pan heat oil and butter. Add chopped onion, curry leaves and chilies and cook until soft and translucent. Do not allow onions to get brown.
  3. Add tomato puree, garlic paste and spices and cook over medium heat until the gravy begins to thicken. Approx. 10-15 mins.
  4. Add the marinated shrimp and mix well. Cook for 10 more mins over a medium heat add salt. Add water if gravy is too thick.
  5. Add coconut milk and simmer over a very low heat for about 5 mins. Garnish & Serve hot with rice.
